When Online Adjusters was first formed we set average claims costs. These costs were based on an adjuster being able to visit several claims in an area on set days and a standard service where the loss adjuster would release the claim back to the claims handler as soon as costs were known.

Customer Care and Service although paramount and included in the above, have created costs which have caused us to re-visit the charging of standard fees.

Although the fees are now charged by an hourly rate plus kilometers and disbursements, we believe we are still competitive with internal adjusters on a case by case basis.

There will no longer be any extra fees for weekend or evening call out but we need to know if we are required to be available and when.

Our hourly rate for all adjustments is:-

Travel costs are to cover the wear and tear of the vehicle and will be charged at the kilometre rate of:-

$1.00

Overheads / office fees 15% of overall adjustment cost (exclusiuve of GST).

If any after hours calls can be returned to your claims people with a short record of all actions taken and further adjustment is not required you will be charged only for the time taken plus any disbursements (cost of disbursements yet to be known) at the hourly rate of:-

We are still carrying out building reports for both replacement policies and private purchasers but Insurers specified disclaimers now apply. The cost of these reports are based on travel and disbursements and an hourly rate of:-

Costs incurred for expert reports to resolve the claim i.e. engineers property surveyors or jewelry valuations will be charged over and above the costs listed above.
